Energy of the Moment: February 9, 2018 SATIETY ~ 10 of CUPS We receive the 10 of Cups, offering feelings of inner fulfillment, pleasure, and rousing passion. New adventures and wonderful experiences are on the horizon. We can bask in this glory, yet we must remain vigilant. “Sloppy joy” can miss the present moment as much as wallowing in anger or despair. We avoid getting lost in the clouds, in pipe dreams or too-good-to-be-true illusions. At this pinnacle of inner contentment, we must beware Temptation. While full of Light, the cups are tilted, and disruption of inner peace can occur at any moment. If something or someone looks good on paper, we read the fine print and use our Soul embodiment to read between the lines. Often we are being offered an “old” situation in new clothing. We must choose to use our power of discernment to decide if our decisions evolve us into the new, or regress us to past versions of ourselves. However, without challenge, there is no growth or need for reflection. Thus, we welcome and invite it in. We enjoy the powerful emotions that we have mastered during this part of our journey and prepare ourselves for the next spiral. Relationship is of utmost importance as we build paths and bridges for our thoughts and feelings to have full self-expression. Sharing these moments with others anchors our love deeply. We experience being met, felt and understood in ways previously unknown. As the Divine Feminine activates inner authority, and uplifts each individual soul, we find religion and rigid thought patterns dissolving, particularly those that demonize or fear “feeling too much”. In fact, it is this Divine sense of FEELING that leads us through the Darkness into a blazing Light. This is a time to take great risks for pleasure, as relational alchemy is supported and catalyzed. We now engage in creative relationships that fulfill our deepest yearnings. This ends a cycle of emotional development as we break ground on a new cycle, merging with God as Soul in body. We express gratitude for the good times while gathering the inner strength and life force necessary for the the next adventure. As life intensifies, one thing is certain: this is the end of Sleeping Beauty’s slumber.
